Fun Friday Round-Up: Tasty Blogs For Breakfast!
It’s Friday and Friday’s should always be fun
With all the talk of establish passive income, making money online, hearing cha-ching in my sleep… time to rest. Hopefully you have taken some sort of steps during the last few days to help your future self so today is reserved for some light yet inspiring reads. I have been organizing my Google Reader this week and it’s been a lot of fun to add a few more new blogs. It’s funny how it happens too: I’ll find one new blog and that new blog is featuring another blog, so now I have tabs for two new blogs open and oh look! Another new blog, and so on. I hope to reach out to more people so here goes:
#1. Glen With his $1M Case Study: Hiring an FHM Model
If you don’t know Glen, that’s a problem. This guy knows how to have fun all while starting a $1 Million Dollar case study. In this post, he discusses how he hired an FHM model for a shoot that will result in videos on his $1M website. He spares no details, which is what makes him a favourite. It’s no wonder that it was after reading Cloud Living that I could establish passive income.
#2. Henri with How I Went From 0 to 1,012 Subscribers
For a blog as young as Henri’s, this kind of progress is something you need pay attention to. As young as Henri’s blog is (a bit over 101 days?), it didn’t come without hard work. Henri explains why he’s never second-guessed paying for a mentor and how guest blogging help him achieve his goals, amongst other things.
#3. Lee with Boise Website Part 1
Lee is attempting to create a website for Boise, Idaho where he will provide information regarding hotels, airports, entertainment, etc. He is hoping to rank in Google so he can earn money from this website. His goal is to launch it and not have to do much work other than some clean-up from time to time–passive income at its best. Be sure to follow the series from someone in the trenches!
#4. Hulbert with Sylvester Stallone and Hits
Most of you are probably thinking, ‘Yeah I know Sly made it, why should I care?’ Hulbert digs deep into Sylvester’s life story and it’s quite the inspirational story. Sometimes you need uplifting material and this certainly does the job.
#5. Sean with Why I Commute 90 Minutes Each Day
While most of us are bitching about our commute to work (and I drive less than 5 minutes one way), Sean tells us why he doesn’t mind driving 90 minutes a day to “Third Place” in Thailand. Sure, Sean holds the stereotype of the typical lifestyle designer who moved to Thailand but he’s got some wise things to share.
Hopefully you haven’t read all of the posts I’ve mentioned, so enjoy. I will be putting things into motion this weekend and next week should bring some exciting content.
Enjoy Spring 2010!
