Fun Friday Round-Up: Delish Posts to Savour
Since I’m in the middle of an apartment search in San Diego, this will be short. Apparently, unless you’re employed at the moment and have verifiable income, leasing an apartment seems almost impossible (one apartment complex told me that pre-paying rent for the entire lease term isn’t allowed). If you know of awesome apartments in San Diego who are somewhat flexible, feel free to contact me. [Note: Don't let this happen again.]
It seems every week I find a few posts that are just great to consume, so here’s a shout out.
#1. Karen’s From Homeless To The InfoPreneur
This one is actually a guest post by James The InfoPreneur. This is not to say that Karen doesn’t produce quality content because I read her posts every week. James shines here by talking about his life story while providing you with your much needed dose of motivation.
#2. Srinaro’s Focus on What You Can do Today
Srinaro has the gift of making his posts to the point and attractive. This is a short read but let’s you know all you need; it reminds you of the actions you can take today to accomplish your goals for the future.
#3. Alex’s How They Are Doing It
Written by Julie, this post sheds light on the countless number of people who have been laid off and are now becoming entrepreneurs, whether by chance or converting their part-time hobby to a full-time one through these tough times. Best part are the examples of real entrepreneurs.
#4. John’s How To Really Make Money With Clickbank
I stumbled upon this gem today as my eyes were scanning featured posts and this one truly holds its weight. I’m not entirely on board with Clickbank but the ideas in this post can be used with any other affiliate program. This is definitely a strategy I will experiment with in the near future.
#5. Chris’ Are You Prepared for Layoffs?
This is a topic noone likes to talk about but if you work for someone else, this post is for you. I’m definitely new to the blog and Chris talks about things you need to consider–asap!
Enjoy these reads and your weekend.

Hi! My name is Moon Hussain and I'm here to share all the strategies that I'll be experimenting with to earn passive income.
Hi Moon,
Wasn’t James’ post inspirational? A lot of people are finding inspiration from his life-story. Thanks for including it for your readers.
I’ve only read one of this week’s listed articles and the others sound very interesting. I’ll be checking them out shortly.
Thanks,
Karen

Hey!
Great Round up moon
Thanks Dev, hope you enjoy!
Good luck on the apartment search. It is not illegal to pay 6 months rent in advance but some banks prohibit the landlord from collecting 6 months up front. A bad landlord might skip town leaving the bank with tenants in place and no income for 6 months. You might want to describe yourself as a search engine expert that helps companies create sales online. Also say you will be studying marketing in the area. It is all true but it sounds better than “unemployed bum surfing the internet all day”.
JadeDragon@innovativepassiveincome´s last blog ..What is Your Lifestyle Design Goal?
Jade, great idea but they usually want a phone number or pay stubs to prove employment. This is turning out to be more of a hurdle I thought. Hopefully I can catch a break this week. I’ve been eyeing these apartments for a week or two now and hope to apply on Thursday (they’re running a special).
I see what you’re saying about landlord skipping town, but we’re not talking about small no-name apartments. These seem to be big in SD. I’d love to hear more about this if you’ve got more ideas
Filling out an apartment app soon!
Hey Moon,
Good luck with the apartment search! Sorry to hear that it is so difficult. You’d think with vacancies as high as they are they’d be more flexible! Maybe vacancy is lower near you. We hope all goes well for you and keep up the great work.
Thanks,

Thanks Timothy. I’m having a difficult time with the apartment search, mainly because my current apartment wants a notice 2 months ahead of time when the other apartments don’t know if they’ll have empty units that far ahead of time.
I’m sure it’ll work out one way or another.
